No, he makes killer beats, and they sound great. I especially loved the drums on this album, Opium For The People as the best example. Cool album, couple of fillers but nonetheless better then Iowa. Not hárder, but better.
Still, the first one was the best, ofcourse. |

The first one was their best. Iowa made me hate them since they got so much attention but had put out such a crappy record. SOAD opened for them on the tour they did when both bands' CD's came out, & Toxicity ended up outselling Iowa. Rightfully so. Volume 3 was much better than Iowa, but nowhere near the originality of the debut.
I do think Left Behind was a damn good song though. Iowa wasn't a total bag of shit. "Swampy, you are completely unnecessary." - Touched |

I didn't really like Volume 3 when it was first released but it's grown on me recently. It's not as agressive as the first two but imo it does have some of their strongest songs on it

I love Vol 3 and consider it better than s/t and Iowa, which i didn't like at all apart from a few songs. s/t was ruined by the sampling and just pure
filler in there that most people have forgotten even exist.
Vol3 is a more mature record and showed they were getting away from some of the bullshit from the early days. To the person who said they went commercial with this one.... they sold out when they changed screaming for singing in some of their videos (Left Behind i think stands out) earlier so the move to Vol3 was ok with me and you can't knock melody. Vermillion is just
